Hall Effect Sensors
The Hall Effect sensor is used where non contact current sensing over a wide input operating ranges with responsiveness to very high frequency inputs are critical design criteria. A Hall Effect sensor is particularly suited to measuring DC current and DC current pulses.
Application:
Isolated, non-intrusive current or voltage sensing based upon the Hall Effect principle. The Hall Effect principal states that a magnetic field applied perpendicular to the current flow creates a proportional Hall voltage perpendicular to both. These sensors offer high accuracy, high primary to secondary isolation and an extended frequency detection bandwidth.
