Cable fault locators are suitable for harsh operating environments. These products incorporate the latest in time domain reflectometry techniques to accurately identify the location of the different types of cable faults.

T-C20 – The T-C20 cable fault locator is suitable for low voltage cable applications. The instrument is capable of detecting;

• Open fault,
• Open fault with reference,
• Cross over fault between two lines.

T-903 – The T-903 cable fault locator is suitable for high voltage power cables applications. The instrument is capable of detecting;

• Open fault,
• Low resistance fault,
• High resistance fault, or
• Flash-over fault.

In addition, the T-903 can be used to;

• Measure the wave speed within the cable and
• Measure the length of the cable.

T-505 – The T-505 Pinpoint Fault Locator used in conjunction with the T-602 Audio Frequency Generator is capable of accurately locating the fault within +/- 2 meters maximum. The instruments are is capable of detecting;

• Open fault,
• Low resistance fault,
• High resistance fault, or
• Flash-over fault.
